Governing Documents
To operate effectively and with transparency, our organization is guided by two foundational documents. The Bylaws serve as our constitution, outlining the club’s core structure and rules of governance. The Handbook is a more practical guide, detailing the day-to-day procedures we follow to get things done.
Both documents were developed to align with the framework provided by the Roanoke County Public Schools Parent Organization Guidelines. This ensures our structure is sound and our operations are consistent with district expectations, allowing us to focus our energy where it matters most: supporting the students.
Roles & Responsibilities
A successful booster club doesn’t run on good intentions alone; it requires a clear understanding of who is responsible for what. Clearly defined roles prevent confusion, ensure we work efficiently, and ultimately allow us to provide the best possible support for our students and the band program.
